Terms of Sale
Last updated September 2026.
These terms cover purchases made through aceweldingandtrailer.com. Placing an order means you accept them.
Prices and availability
Prices are in US dollars and can change without notice. Stock shown on the site is our best current information, but a part can sell before the site catches up. If something you ordered is not available, we will call or email you with the options rather than leave you guessing.
We do our best to keep part numbers, descriptions and images accurate. If there is an obvious error — a price that is plainly wrong, or a description that does not match the part — we reserve the right to correct it and cancel the affected order with a full refund.
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship the parts or confirm them ready for pickup, and we may decline an order — for example if we cannot verify payment, or if we cannot source the part.
Making sure it is the right part
Liftgate parts vary by model, year and serial number, and superseded part numbers are common. It is the buyer’s responsibility to confirm a part fits their equipment before ordering. The Part Finder and our catalog are aids, not guarantees of fitment.
We would much rather you called. Give us the brand, model and serial number of your gate on (210) 667-1171 and we will confirm the part number with you. That matters especially for special-order parts, which cannot be returned — see our Returns & Refunds policy.
Payment
Card payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store your card number. Placing an order confirms you are authorized to use the payment method.
Shipping and pickup
See our Shipping page. Delivery estimates are the carrier’s, not a guarantee, and once a shipment is with the carrier its timing is out of our hands. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery, or on collection for pickup orders.
Returns
See our Returns & Refunds policy. In short: stocked parts within 15 days, less a 30% restocking fee; special-order parts are not returnable; you pay return freight unless the mistake was ours.
Warranty
Parts carry their manufacturer’s warranty — Maxon, Waltco, Tommy Gate and others each have their own. We are not the manufacturer and do not extend a separate warranty on the parts we resell, but we will help you file a claim.
Beyond that manufacturer warranty, parts are sold as-is to the extent the law allows.
Installation and safety
Liftgates lift heavy loads and are powered by hydraulics and high-current electrical systems. Parts should be fitted by someone competent to do the work, following the manufacturer’s instructions. We are not responsible for injury, damage or loss arising from parts being fitted or used incorrectly.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for the parts in that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including lost work, downtime or lost revenue — arising from a part, its supply or its delay.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Bexar County, Texas.
