Ways to Purchase
Four ways to get parts from us. Pick whichever suits how you buy — they all reach the same parts desk.
Order online
Fastest routeSearch the shop by part number or description, add to cart, pay by card. Shipping is calculated at checkout from the weight of what is in your cart and where it is going — no flat fee, no guessing.
Not sure of the number? The Part Finder walks you from your liftgate brand and model to an exploded diagram — click the part on the drawing and it takes you straight to it.

If you are unsureA person answers. Bring the model or serial number off the gate if you have it, or describe the failure and we will work it out with you.
We stock a lot, and what we do not stock we can usually order in — ask and we will tell you what it costs and how long it takes before you commit.

Directions & hoursHeavy & freight items
Over 70 lbSome things are too heavy to go by parcel carrier. Order them the normal way and you are not charged at checkout.
We quote the freight for your address, add it to the order, and email you a payment link for the real total. You see the freight cost before you pay a cent of it.
Nothing is shipped and no card is charged until you approve that total.
Pay for a quoteDon’t know the part number? Use the Part Finder
You do not need to know a part number to order from us. If you can get to your liftgate, the part finder will walk you from your gate to the exact part, and you click it straight into the cart. It takes about a minute.
Find the serial plate on your gate
This is the one thing worth doing before you start. The plate is a small metal tag with the manufacturer’s logo on it, and it is usually on the pump box, the main frame, or the column. Take a photo of it with your phone so you have the model and serial number to hand.
Can’t find it, or it’s worn off? Skip it. You can still get there by picking your model from a list — or send us the photo and we will read it for you.
Pick your brand
We carry Maxon, Waltco and Tommy Gate. It is printed on the gate itself, and on that serial plate.
Enter your model and serial, or browse to your model
Typing the model and serial from the plate is the fastest route and lands you straight on the right gate. If you do not have it, you can work down the lists instead — series, then model — and get to the same place.
Choose the area of the gate
You are asked which part of the liftgate the problem is in, so you are not scrolling through every drawing. If none of it sounds right, there is a “Show all diagrams” button that lists every one for your model.
Click the numbered part on the drawing
You get the manufacturer’s own exploded diagram with numbered callouts on it — the same drawing in the service manual. Find your part on the picture, click its number, and it takes you to that exact part number in our shop, priced and ready to add to the cart.
Accounts & purchase orders
For fleets, shops and municipalities that would rather not put a card in every time.
House accounts
Established commercial customers can be invoiced instead of paying at checkout. Call the parts desk to set one up — we will go through what we need from you and what terms we can offer.
Already have an account? Pay your invoices online any time.
Pay your billPurchase orders
We accept POs from fleets, government and commercial accounts. Email your PO with the part numbers and quantities and we will confirm availability, pricing and freight before anything ships.

First time ordering from us?
Fair questions, answered plainly.
- Who are we?
- A real welding and trailer shop in East San Antonio, not a drop-shipper. You are welcome to come and stand in it — the address and hours are on the contact page.
- Shipping cost
- Worked out at checkout from the actual weight of your order and your ZIP code. You see the number before you pay, not after.
- Heavy items
- Anything too heavy for a parcel carrier is quoted by hand and sent to you as a payment link. No surprise charge on your card.
- Something out of stock
- We will tell you at the point of ordering rather than after. Most parts we do not carry we can order in — call and we will give you a real lead time.
- Returns
- Case by case — call us and we will sort it out. We would rather talk to you than hide behind a policy page.
- Talking to a person
